Matt Ward & Amber Rae Slade

The Welder's Dog

January 19th, 2022

Matt Ward & Amber Rae Slade are a dream team for lovers of authentic Australian alt. country and Americana music.

Following years of work across remote Australia and long stints immersing himself in the Texas country music scene, Ward is quickly gaining a reputation for one of Australians finest and most diverse country artists. Since his debut #1 ARIA Australian country album “Heartland”, Ward has been releasing and performing material recently recorded in Texas, including outlaw country barnstormers, honky-tonk two-steppers and Paul Kelly inspired hits.

Born in Detroit, Michigan to a musical family and raised throughout the United States, Amber Rae Slade recently released her long awaited album “With A Bullet Between My Teeth” to rave reviews. With stunning vocals and a natural ability to tell stories in song that pass most of us by, Amber’s songwriting and music is quickly gaining the attention of the Australian music industry. Matt and Amber would love for you to join them (and friends!) for a night of fantastic Australian country, alt country and Americana music!
